| Southold Dance Theater, the resident dance company of the Morris Performing Arts Center, serves as a regional pre-professional dance training center. Based on various disciplines, but emphasizing ballet, Southold strives to promote dance excellence. The School of Southold Dance Theater offers classes from newborn through pre-professional. The curriculum includes Kindermusik, pre-technique, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and modern. With professional dedicated teachers, the vision of the school is to provide a positive movement experience for all, a strong training program for the serious student, and to encourage and identify young talent.
